Our Commitment to Copyright

TextDetectors respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to us.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content available on or through TextDetectors infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. Your notice must include the following information:

  1. Your contact information — Name, address, telephone number, and email address
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work — A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
  3. Identification of the infringing material — A description of where the infringing material is located on our platform (URL or specific location)
  4. A statement of good faith — "I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law"
  5. A statement of accuracy — "The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed"
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

How to Submit a DMCA Notice

Send your completed DMCA notice to our designated copyright agent via our contact form, marking the subject as "DMCA Takedown Notice".

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  1. Your contact information
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of Federal District Court for your judicial district
  5. Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat Infringers

It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.
